What is Circulated Hot Water?

Australians waste thousands of litres water each year, waiting minutes for hot water to arrive at the tap.
Circulated water solves this problem by circulating hot water (during requested time periods) around the house within close proximity of all tap outlets. Circulated water allows hot water to be available within seconds, drastically reducing water wastage and energy consumption.

At the heart of the central heating system is the GreenHeat Pump Kit.  Manufactured by Hydrotherm and attached directly below the Rinnai Infinity Hot Water Unit, the pump provides circulated hot water through the ring main at the times designated by you to suit you lifestyle.  Hydrotherm have taken the hard work out of installing a Hydronic system by combining all necessary parts and combining them into one small attractive package.

Hydrotherm Recommend using Rinnai Heavy Duty  commercial range of boilers, which have an extended warranty in combination with Hydronic heating systems (5 years). GreenHeat Pump Kits are designed to suit the Rinnai HD 200 and HD 250 models. The Pump Kits will also fit to Rinnai 26 or 32 models but will be restricted to a 1 year warranty from Rinnai Australia.

Storage Hot Water Units

If you have an existing storage hot water unit, Hydrotherm also manufacture a storage pump kit, which can run up to 4 heating panels and provide your home with circulated hot water. This much smaller unit can be easily connected to any new or existing storage hot water boiler, please contact us for further information on the storage pumps.

Please note the storage pump system is not sufficient to heat an entire home however is superb idea to run 3 – 4 heated towel rails and save water at the same time.
